It is leg day! NLA for Her athlete Amy Updike IFBB Pro demonstrates her two favorite leg exercises: “Barbell Squats” and “Box Step-Up to Knee Drive!” Notice Amy’s intensity on the Step-Up. This leg workout will get your heart rate up and help you burn calories while gaining lean muscle. Start with your compound lifts like the squat then transition into more high intensity, fast paced exercises to keep your heart rate up!

The workout:

1) Barbell Squat (shown above): 5 sets 5 reps (really push yourself and the amount of weight here. Don’t sacrifice form!)
2) One legged Leg Press: 4 sets 10 reps each leg
3) DB RDLs: 3 sets 12 reps
Superset with Box Step-Up to Knee Drive (shown in video): 3 sets 25 reps each leg
4) Walking lunges w/ DB: 3 sets 12 steps each leg
5) 30 seconds max reps bodyweight jump squats
