Hunter Labrada – Seated Leg Extension – Instructions / Tips

Hunter recently won his first bodybuilding competition ever. He not only won his class, Heavy Weight Open Bodybuilding, but he also managed to win the overall trophy at the 2016 Branch Warren Classic, held here in Houston Texas.

Step 1 – Make sure the machine is set up properly – the pivot point of the machine should be inline with the knee. Along with the lower pad 2-3 inches above your ankle.

Step 2 – Keeping your butt back, and maintaining dorsi flexion of the foot, allowing for the quadriceps to do all the work

Step 3: You will want to reach the point right before you lock our your knees, and no higher. While lowering the weight, and maintaining tension on the muscle at all times.
