You may have often thought what can hand mixer do to help you cook, or why use it when you can use your hands? A hand mixer will save you time and effort. Here are some wonders that the device can do:

1.      Mashed potatoes with cream cheese

Mashed potatoes with cream cheese

Mashed potatoes are a widely loved recipe. Every family used its own unique and secret ingredients to make the mashed potato. However, a widespread variation is the mashed potato with cream cheese, and you can use a hand mixer for mashed potatoes. All you need to do is boil some potatoes and then peel them and keep them aside. Next, you will need some cream cheese. Add the boiled potatoes and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. To it, add some finely chopped chives and salt and pepper. Mash the mixture with the help of an electric hand mixer and finely blend all the ingredients. Add some olive oil on top to give it an extra boost of flavor.

2.      Red sauce pasta

Red sauce pasta

Sometimes, we just crave some spicy red sauce pasta. To make the sauce, you will need some crushed tomatoes. You can use the ones that come in cans, but use fresh tomatoes for the authentic Italian flavor. Peel some boiled tomatoes, put them in the hand mixer, and crush the tomatoes until they become a paste. Heat some olive oil in a pan and add some crushed garlic to it. Pour the crushed tomatoes and add some tomato paste. Add basil leaves, salt, and pepper according to taste. Bring the whole mixture to a boil and let it thicken. Your red sauce is ready! You can also use a hand mixer for soup or to make a puree.

3.      Chocolate mousse

Chocolate mousse

How can we leave out dessert? Chocolate mousse is a popular recipe, and you will find many variations in it. The best way to make some delicious chocolate mouse is to blend the chocolate and the heavy cream in a hand mixer. This gives a smooth paste, and the mousse simply melts in your mouth. Heat some dark chocolate in a bowl over a boiling own of water. Add the chocolate into a bowl, add some powdered sugar and milk. Blend it until the mixture is creamy. Add the heavy cream in another bowl, with some powdered sugar, and blend the mixture again. In a glass, layer the chocolate and the cream mixture and top it with some choco-chips and put it in the freezer for about an hour. Your chocolate mousse is ready!
